Let´s dare to accompany a classic salad with Kitu and one of the most popular recipes from the Middle East.

 

Ingredients:

500g of chickpeas

½ onion

3 garlic cloves

½ cup of parsley

½ cup of coriander

1 tablespoon of tahini

 

Preparation:

Wash and let chickpeas´soak overnight, overnight, drain the water soaked and beat until the thick was consistent. (Add . cup of water if needed to facilitate the process). Mix onion, garlic, parsley, coriander and 1/2 cup of water. Add this mixture to the crushed chickpeas and add the tahini, lemon juice, and season it with sweet paprika, cumin, pepper and salt. Let the mixture at least for 30 minutes and then form balls and crush them softly. If the mixture is wet, add ground bread. Fry the balls in olive oil and accompany them with a salad of lettuce, black olives and Kitu´s exotic vegetable chips.
