It comes from the Middle East and it is also a traditional of international food. Let´s accompany this dish with Kitu´s vegetable chips of your choice.

 

Ingredients:

500g chickpeas previously soaked one night before

1 tablespoon of olive oil

1 tablespoon of tahini (sesame seed paste)

2 garlic cloves

2 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 cup of cumin

Salt, pepper and paprika to taste

80g of Kitu exotic vegetables mix

 

Preparation:

Let´s drain the water from soaking and boil the chickpeas in salted water for 30 or 40 minutes until they are cooked and soft. Drain the water and mix the chickpeas in a beater all together with the garlic, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil and a little of water. Serve with sweet paprika and a tap of olive oil, served with vegetable chips ready to bite.
